Frequently asked questions
How do I install or update NavOps?
When the app is on the App Store, install or update there like any other iPhone app. During beta, open the TestFlight link we share with you (or the public beta link if we have published one) and follow the on-screen steps.
Why is my trip missing on my other iPhone?
NavOps syncs through iCloud only for trips where you turned iCloud on. Trips you keep on one device stay there until you enable iCloud for that trip and sign in with the same Apple ID on the other phone.
How does sharing work?
For trips stored in iCloud, you can invite others through Apple’s sharing flow. Guests follow along read-only—the same rules you see inside the app.
Why is the app asking for location?
Location is used when you do something that needs it—like placing or refining a stop on the map. We do not use it to track you in the background for ads.
Why is it asking for notifications?
Only if you asked for reminders or similar features. You can say no and keep using the app; we will only prompt again if a feature needs it.
Privacy
How we handle trip data, location, and iCloud is spelled out in plain language in the privacy policy.
